Anosha Alam (She/Her)

Research Assistant

Anosha graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree of Urban and Regional Planning, with a specialization in Transportation Planning. Anosha has worked with Metrolinx’s Design Management team to provide reviews and insight on accessible and inclusive transit station design implementation opportunities. She has completed an internship at Credit Valley Conservation, contributing to the Cooksville Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP), and participated in related community engagement events to better understand the environmental sustainability requirements of the Cooksville community. Anosha has prior education and work experience as an Architectural Technologist on Transit projects in Toronto. 

Anosha is passionate about planning for marginalized communities, accessible & inclusive design, age-friendly cities & transit, place-making, and equitable design.
